It was with sadness that model enthusiasts heard about Hobbico, the owners of Revell USA’s bankruptcy early in 2018 and everyone wondered if they will ever see Revell USA kits on the shelves again.
The operations were bought by the German Quantum Capital Group, who also owns Revell Germany and we started getting our hopes up. It was with great joy that I read in the December 2018 issue of Scale Auto Magazine that Revell USA will start operating again in 2019 and that they are kicking off with a bang with two new releases namely a 1968
Chevelle SS and a 1969 Boss 302 Mustang (Fig 1). Being a sucker for Mustangs, I immediately asked my dealer at www. grumpybazaar.com to pre order a Mustang for me which duly arrived about three weeks ago. This is also the kit I’m reviewing in this issue.
