So if long rides leave you hurting, it’s time to figure out how to sit better. Here are ten things you can do.

PROTECT THE TAIL BONE 

The coccyx is the bony part of what’s left of our tails. And it’s bloody annoying because it hurts when you sit badly. What you want to find is a position that puts no pressure on, ideally not even contact with, the coccyx. Dished seats with risers at the back, usually, are problems.
