India Is Total Tech Hub

To increase its presence in the AsiaPacific region, Total S.A. has made India the tech hub.

With a significant presence across 150 countries globally, Total S.A. has announced India as the tech hub for the Asia-Pacific region. Called the Technical Centre Asia Pacific (TCAP), the tech hub is located at Navi Mumbai, and is part of the Indian subsidiary of Total Oil. Set to provide technical assistance, and conduct research and development activities according to Dr. Frank Eydoux, Managing Director, Total Marketing and Services Research Center, the TCAP will enable Total to work closely with its customers. Set up in 2012, the TCAP commenced operations in 2014. Subject to further upgradation through 2015 and 2016, the centre has found a place of importance in the scheme of things at Total. A result of much deliberation, if it should be based at China, South Korea or Japan, the TCAP will offer technical assistance, and carry out research and development activities in the area of lubricants, special fluids (solvents), fuel additives and fuels.
