The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has been developed alongside the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara to take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, VW Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq. It measures 4,365mm in length, 1,795mm in width, and 1,635mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,600mm, putting it in the same ballpark as its rivals in terms of size.

The Hyryder sports a split headlamp and tail lamp setup. It gets LED lighting up front and an LED tail lamp signature. Toyota will offer the upcoming SUV with 17-inch alloy wheels and dual-tone colour options.
