The 9000-square-feet Aura Restaurant and Sky Lounge at the stately National Art Gallery, spread across two floors, offers fine Italian dining at the museum.
In a plush to-order palette of brass, bronze, emerald and amber, Aura, which can hold 90, features comfortable seating with made-to-order cushions with textiles with Glasgow-based Timorous Beasties and the ‘Uragano’ wicker chair that industrial designer Vico Magistretti created for the famed Italian furniture company De Padova.
Aura is a great option for a lunch meeting (3-course set lunch at $35++), an after-work celebratory dinner (4-course dinner set menu at $80++), or a leisurely all-day Saturday brunch.
