Lighting design, much like architectural design, needs to be perceived at the beginning of a project to give a completely new meaning to the spaces envisioned. The 28,000 sq ft Todd Residence in Gurugram was a mammoth project to design for, given its high-end design concepts that required careful scrutiny. The concept was visualised in early 2015, where every space was accented with high-end furniture, materials, flooring, false ceilings and building services. The requirements were to have a light-filled house with breakaway spaces for reading, featuring a minimalistic design and a feel of reaching out into the sky.
