Hello Young Researchers,
We started preparing this issue with a fun game: What’s your favourite food?
For some of us, the answer was “chocolate” and for others, it was “pizza” or “rice”. Then we asked ourselves, “Are we taking the nutrients we need for our body?” So we started on doing research. We wondered which foods have which nutrients and prepared a list. The foods on our list were all colourful.
We went to the grocery store, cooked in the kitchen, and learnt about the favourite foods of children all around the world. We went all the way to the sugar land to find out what happens to our bodies when we eat sugary foods!
We went on an exciting journey in our digestive system. We discovered which organs are working while we’re digesting the things we eat. We read the story of an artist who paints with fruits and vegetables, and examined his interesting drawings. Now it’s time for you to turn the pages and take a look at the information about healthy eating! Play the fun games, solve the puzzles and colour the colouring pages.
