Summer has arrived, and with it the most incredible collections, trends in fashion, motors, design and architecture. In issue number 70, we wanted to pay special attention to the role of sustainability today. So we went out and asked: just what is sustainability all about? The concept has been around since the beginning of humanity and consists of a series of ecologically correct, economically viable, socially just and culturally diverse ideas, strategies and other measures aimed at preserving the planet, natural resources and the well-being of humanity. To make the future brighter and more civilised, fashion can be sustainable, engines can be sustainable and architecture too. That’s why, in this issue, we will introduce you to some ecological projects and some differing opinions on sustainability. We invite you to read the words of the architects Siza Vieira, Eduardo Souto de Moura, João de Sousa Rodolfo and others of renowned work and quality.
