Essential Lisbon: Diogo Morgado, the young Portuguese actor who enjoyed unexpected success in US miniseries
The Bible, one of the most viewed in the USA and in which he was cast as Jesus Christ, is the new
face of Montblanc in Portugal. Essential Lisboa spoke with the actor about the meaning of this
association with the prestigious luxury brand and his expectations of the future.
Not far from Lisbon, the Oeste region, close to Óbidos, will bear witness to the birth of Evolutee, a
boutique hotel containing 40 rooms, which we introduce to you firsthand. Developed by MSF
TUR.IM and due for completion by next summer, its main attraction lies in the fact that it features
interiors designed by yoo Design Studio, founded by Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox.
The fragrances of Frédéric Malle, one of the most revered names in luxury perfumes, are finally
available in Portugal. We bring you a brief insight into this “fragrance publisher” and the concept
guiding his work.
There’s also a brief taster of the Tribute to Claudia gastronomic event held by Hotel Vila Joya in the
