Let’s talk about influence, shall we? Like, really talk about it.
In the age of Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and even the more premium dot com has thrust unlikely superstars to the forefront, ones that aren’t necessarily worlds away from who we already are. Over the course of the recent years, the connotation of the word influence has mellowed out to something that people actually set action to, and not just to merely aspire for. At least that’s what the OGs are doing—and doing it really good. So much so, that we have come to start to listen to them when they communicate in whatever platform. Because let’s come off it, they have something to say.
With by-the-minute updates, curated timelines and creatively produced content at the helm, the digital influence has cut across different planes of society such as fashion, fitness and lifestyle. Barrelling through are David Guison, Alex Diaz and LA Aguinaldo, who all to their best capacity show us how to get the message across effectively in this day and age.
Following suit, we have dedicated our fashion, grooming and naturally, technology pages to cater to an online mindset. Think: A commentary on an obsession for reality and voyeurism, a study of products that do more work than we think and finally, innovations that capture the best memory. Pictures or it didn’t happen, right? Well, it’s all happening right now and it’s happening very fast. And we are all but willing to take on this ride.
