The future of Africa belongs to young Africans, but if these young Africans lack the opportunities to triumph in their chosen fields, how can they lead the change we all desire? However, many Africans continue to defy norms and economic barriers to emerge as leaders in the entertainment industry.

In this Issue 03, we profiled 20 Young
Emerging African Entertainers. This is to celebrate the zealous and the resilient
nature of young Africans in the movie,
music and modeling industries. Nollywood, the Nigerian movie industry is considered the third largest film
industry in the world, ranking behind Hollywood and Bollywood. This is
inspiring because despite the technical
odds in Africa, Africans continue to make
movies filled with so much content and
these films are widely consumed around
the continent and beyond.

In recent times, African music is being
consumed globally. Today, afrobeat is
played worldwide, and the dance steps
are learned in many dancing schools in
Europe, North America and Australia.

Storytelling, music and performing art in
general play a crucial role in changing and repainting the picture that has been conceived in the minds of foreigners who see Africa as nothing but poor and vulnerable. The articles are concisely written with informative messages, plus interviews that takes you deeper into the lives of some of the young emerging entertainers.
