日本に初めてフランチャイズ方式のビジネスが誕生したのは1960年代初頭。ダスキン、不二家 が始まりだったといわれます。それ以降、外食FCが次々に誕生し、1990年に入ってからは、日本の小売りや外食の多くがFC加盟店 になるといわれた時期もありました。 しかし、現状の日本のFCの市場規模は、本家アメリカの足下にも及びません。FC時代は 終わってしまったのでしょうか? 外食FCの歴史と現状を振り返りながら、今後の外食FCビジネスの未来を考えます。
The first issue of this month is "The new age of Franchise(FC) Business". Since started from 1960's, Japanese FC business had grown bigger and bigger so that it was said every retail and food service business would be FC. But now, it seems to the market of FC business stop to grow. We search the current trend and think about the future of Japanese FC business.
