Small cars still rule in India, but even within that category there’s plenty of variety. We look at two such entries in our April issue that lie on opposite ends of this spectrum – the Datsun Go and Mini Cooper S – that too in locations that are as different as the cars themselves. Both brands are at a different points in their India foray as well. Mini is well established as a maker of luxury and sporty hatchbacks, while Datsun is trying to establish itself in a market dominated by the likes of Maruti–Suzuki and Hyundai.

We look beyond the compact cars too with a healthy dose of BMW. The Z4, M5, M6 Gran Coupe, 320D GT, E36 325, and 235i coupe.
