We have Ronny Deila on the cover of this issue, because he's been the target of some unbelievable media criticism for a man who's been newly appointed. He appears to have gotten over his early mishaps ... but he's still in stormy waters.
James Forrest tackles Financial Fair Play and the need for tougher regulations. Mark O'Sullivan thinks a wage cap would be a good move for the governing bodies, and something that would win broad support amongst fans and clubs.
Sean Thomas Graham speaks to John McGlynn, manager of Livingston, in a wide ranging interview.
Sean also talked to former Aberdeen front-man Frank McDougall. Check out his book, which you can find on Amazon. It's a great read.
On the subject of Aberdeen, John Bleasdale provided us with an excellent overview of their season so far, and his reasons for optimism about their future. Tartan Army regular John also looked at the recent performances of the National Team.
Matthew Marr has contributed two excellent pieces, one on whether certain trophies are still worth winning, or seen as worth winning by the fans and the clubs, and the other on how attendances relate to the success and failure of football teams. Finally, we have a piece from Tony Belgley, pondering what FIFA might do in the aftermath of the Scottish independence No vote.
Friends, we hope you enjoy the issue. Issue 3 will be out sometime in November or very early December.
All In The Game Description:
All In The Game is a new magazine about Scottish football, written by and for the fans.
The game in Scotland is facing unprecedented challenges. We believe that not only can it weather these storms but that it can thrive in spite of them. Fans have begun to re-engage again, not only following their teams but taking a role in trying to reform them.
This magazine is dedicated to helping them with that task.
