The Land Rover Series IIA double-cab featured this month is definitely not standard, on account of they never made one. And nor are the L200 and Ranger, both modded by the same bloke with the aim of creating a top-notch overlander that would also be a head-turning street machine.

Talking of which, would you believe a 200-Series Land Cruiser ute conversion? Now, that’s what you call a double-cab. And then there’s that ’55 Chevy. Arguably the coolest of the lot. Though with the Munro MK_1 pick-up, Hennessey VelociRaptoR 6x6 and Iveco Tigrotto all featured in our news pages, the choices in the world of pick-ups are getting cooler all the time.
