Irish striker’s former WAG wants relationship in villa

THE ex-girlfriend of Ireland footballer Aaron Connolly has said the “timing is right” for a new relationship as she entered the Love Island villa last night.

Blonde bombshell Lucinda Strafford dated the Republic of Ireland star — who has played for Ireland six times — for two years before the pair split earlier this year over cheating allegations.

The 21-year-old, from Brighton, said the “timing is right” to meet someone new.

She said: “I’m a relationship kind of girl. The timing is right, and I want to have some fun.”

Pin-up Lucinda already has her eyes set on who she fancies in the villa, saying: “I really fancy Brad. And then possibly Liam. But obviously, I’m open to getting to know any of the other boys.”

And she said she hopes to get on well with the girls as well.
