FESTIVALS are back, but headliners Enter Shikari may have forgotten how to play even their own music!
The St Albans rockers top the bill at the Download Pilot event at Donington Park today but, after two years without shows, it feels like starting afresh.
Frontman Rou Reynolds told me: “We’ve been in our rehearsal space for two weeks trying to learn how to play and be live musicians again.
“It’s amazing what you forget when your muscle memory isn’t being topped up on tour.
“This is the longest we’ve not played a show since 2005.”
Download Pilot is a Government test event and the band think it will be an poignant one.
