IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING

Here’s what you need to set, and achieve, your goals: Vision, belief and a solid work ethic

IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING

Sometimes in life, you have to make your own path – not take the road that’s been laid out for you. As children, we have a buoyant mindset that believes anything can be done. When a child fails at getting up and taking its first steps, it doesn’t think, “Oh man, this is too hard for me, I better give up!” They keep at it with an indomitable belief. As we move forward in life, sometimes the world tells us we can’t do certain things, or this is how things are. It’s up to us to train ourselves to be like kids again.

Like everything in life, this type of thinking becomes a habit. If you train yourself in the “I can’t” mode, you won’t in life, and if you train yourself in the “I can” mode, you will. But all this seems terribly philosophical. How do we implement it? I’m a great believer in a few pillars that can push you towards the “I can” mode of living.

The first is vision: How powerful is your vision? How much does it mean to you? Is it enough to fuel the journey ahead?

Second is the worthiness factor: Do you believe you deserve to achieve your vision? Are you willing to do what is necessary?

Third is obstacles: How prepared are you to overcome the obstacles that may lie in your way, on the road to victory?

This past year, I set forth an intense physical transformation challenge for myself that allowed me to progress positively in all three areas. At the beginning of 2020, we knew a dire year was about to befall us. So I decided to use the time I suddenly had as an opportunity to re-route and still chase my greatest self.
