Hello there, have you FB’ers had a good month? Up, down, then up again here for me, but at least it’s not been boring! If I remember right I checked in with you after Qatar, where we sealed second place in the championship. Almost immediately afterwards we were zoomed off back to Italy though, because the EICMA show was on and Ducati had a bunch of special kit to show off.

Hello everyone, well, I finally did it and got married! It was a bit of a secret but I had said I’d never get married ever again, after the last one.
Neave Twins
Unless you’ve been an avid follower of BSB over the last two years then there is a very good chance that you won’t know who my brother or I am. That’s because we have only been road racing for three years. So allow me to introduce myself, I’m Tim and my identical twin brother is Tom.

R6 Trickery Of The Trade
Yamaha’s R6 is notoriously difficult to squeeze performance out of by using conventional means such as Power Commanders. But via the ECU, however…

So, after conceding we had no bike to race (and moaning as much as possible in true teenager fashion), we were given a last minute lifeline to appear at the first round of the MCE British Superbike Championship at Donington Park, riding the Total Plant Solutions Ducati Panigale 899 in the Ducati Tri-Options Cup. Keith ‘Bugsy’ Jaggard was the splendid chap who gave us the chance to get some more saddle time, after he upgraded (along with most of the field) to the new 959 Panigale. It meant I was really going to have to pull my finger out to get some good results.

A Summer Break Of Agony & Ecstacy
There hasn’t been a single Bennetts British Superbike race in the past five weeks, yet even so things have gone absolutely mental. For a summer break it’s had more ups and downs then a whole season of F1, with career-changing injuries, world-level wildcards and factory endurance testing galore. I don’t know why, but it seems like everyone is trying as hard as possible not to make it into the showdown…
