திராவிடர் விடுதலைக் கழகத்தின் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ வார ஏடாக ‘புரட்சிப் பெரியார் முழக்கம்’ வெளியாகி வருகிறது. திராவிடர் விடுதலைக் கழகத்தின் பொதுச்செயலாளர், தோழர் விடுதலை இராசேந்திரன் இதன் ஆசிரியர். 1997 மே மாதம் முதல் 2001ஆம் ஆண்டின் இறுதிவரை மாத இதழாக வெளிவந்து கொண்டிருந்த "புரட்சிப் பெரியார் முழக்கம்" 2002-ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழ்ப் புத்தாண்டு முதல் வார ஏடாக வந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது. தந்தை பெரியாரின் லட்சியங்களான ஜாதி ஒழிப்பு, பெண்ணடிமை ஒழிப்பு, பகுத்தறிவுக் கொள்கைகளை பரப்புவதை லட்சியமாகக் கொண்டு வார ஏடு இது.

Puratchi Periyar Muzhakkam is the official weekly publication of the Dravidar Viduthalai Kazhagam (DVK). Since its inception, the magazine has served as a steadfast voice for social justice, rationalism, and equality. First published as a monthly magazine in May 1997, and later transformed into a weekly from Tamil New Year 2002, Puratchi Periyar Muzhakkam continues to carry forward the revolutionary ideals of Thanthai Periyar—including the eradication of caste, emancipation of women, and the promotion of scientific temper and self-respect. Our General Secretary Comrade Viduthalai Rajendran serves as the Editor, and each issue reflects the unyielding commitment of our movement to dismantle oppressive structures and foster a society built on reason, justice, and equality. This magazine is not merely a publication—it is a continuation of a century-long struggle. We write not for applause, but for awakening.
