Feeling your age? Or maybe years older or younger? We can't stop the passage of time, but our lifestyles can affect how old our bodies look and feel. Uncover your true body age by answering our questions about diet, weight, sleep habits and activity levels. Don't worry if you come out older than your actual age, as there are things you can do to make a difference.

Carrying excess pounds increases the risk of developing age-related diseases, including type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and arthritis. Being underweight can lead to problems such as osteoporosis and anaemia. Check your body mass index (BMI) at nhs.uk.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR DIET?

A balanced diet, including freshly prepared meals, provides all the nutrients you need, and increases your body's ability to protect cells. 'Convenience foods are often high in calorie-laden sugar, and salt, which increases blood pressure,' says nutritionist Rob Hobson.
