Kate Ferdinand talks meal times, moving to Dubai and her life goals

'BLENDED FAMILIES CAN HAVE TRICKY MOMENTS'

Former reality star Kate Ferdinand has never shied away from being honest about the highs and lows of family life. The 34-year-old is now mum to Cree, four, and Shae, two, as well as stepmum to Rio Ferdinand's children Lorenz, 19, Tate, 17, and Tia, 14, from his first marriage to Rebecca Ellison, who sadly passed away in 2015 from breast cancer.

Now, after relocating from the UK to Dubai, Kate opens up about how they're all adapting, why dinner time remains sacred, and what the future holds.

You've just made a big life change -moving to Dubai. How has that been for you and the family?

We've only been here a few weeks, but it's been great so far. I don't want to speak too soon, but we're enjoying it. What's nice is that, although people imagine Dubai to be this glamorous lifestyle, for us it's just parenting and working in a different country. We're still doing the school runs, Zoom calls and family dinners, but with the bonus of better weather and more time outdoors for the kids.

What are the biggest differences you've noticed compared to the UK?
