CHOENG MON BEACH, THAILAND

Several spots on Koh Samui were used for season three of The White Lotus, and Choeng Mon Beach was among the few non-resort settings chosen.

Why go

Located on a peninsula, this tranquil corner of Koh Samui offers a relaxed stay. Spend your days swimming, paddleboarding or getting massages at the beachside parlours before hopping on a boat to enjoy the stunning views at sunset.

Beyond the beach A taxi ride across the peninsula takes you to the Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai). This is the spot to watch the sunrise. Nearby, the Fisherman's Village in Bophut has become a popular spot for street food and on Fridays there's a bustling night market for souvenirs.
