Piers Morgan is often as insufferable as he is brilliant.

He’ll put into words the very question on the nation’s lips and proceed to crow like a peacock. He’s a Marmite character. But, I like Marmite and I’m equally fond of Piers. Especially now I know he's really just a great big mummy's boy.

How refreshing to hear someone as successful and self-assured as him credit his mother with being his voice of reason and 'the only critic I listen to'. Behind the bravado, there's a man who still turns to his mum for guidance. I love that.
