Ruth Langsford has always been open about the fact that since hitting the menopause, she R has struggled with her weight, admitting, 'The menopause changed my shape, I'm generally just bigger.' While she's slowly learnt to embrace her new shape, confessing, 'There has to be an element of acceptance,' it seems Ruth, 62, hasn't completely given up on her diet and exercise regime.
She explained, 'These days I put on weight much more easily. I've a slightly underactive thyroid that's not medicated, which makes it harder. I'm not ready to say, "To hell with it, I'm going to eat and drink what I want, and who cares what size I am?" Instead,

Back on track Ruth has admitted that when it comes to her diet, 'it's about trying to find a balance. The star has been sharing her healthy meals on Instagram, including her favourite prawn cocktail salad and a chopped Greek salad, which she preps the might before a busy workday to ensure she stays on plan. 'I try to eat healthily and take my breakfast, a green juice and my lunch to work, otherwise I end up eating rubbish all day,' she recently confessed.
