Dog-less days ARE OVER

We’ve decided, five months after our Freddy died, to buy another dog. I’ve tried t stay out of it. The decisions are being made by the two fabulous women in my life, Linda and Tommie.

There are reasons for me to stay out. For example, should I have a full vote on what breed of dog if there’s a fair chance I won’t outlive it? Linda will happily look after it when I’ve gone. She’s younger and fitter. So she should have more of a say. But what if her “new man” doesn’t like dogs? Linda avoids that question because of its complexity.
