Colin faces the trials and tribulations of an overly stuffed wardrobe

- COLIN HOGG

An open and CLOSET CASE

I want to talk about wardrobes. Most grownups have one or share one and many of us probably think of them as a private place. What hangs in the wardrobe stays in the wardrobe - until you take it out and put it on. Though in the case of our wardrobe, good luck finding it. Ours is a place of mystery and nightmare.

If, like the beloved wife and myself, you have a taste for older houses, you might suffer some challenges in the wardrobe department.

In the olden days, when houses like ours were built, people can’t have had many clothes. Hardly any at all if our ancient undersized wardrobe is anything to go by.

Needless to say, unlike the underdressed people of olden times, we have many clothes, innumerable shoes, scarves and other things. Enough to clothe a fair-sized village of similarly sized people.
