KNOW Q: What can I do with my used coffee grounds?
Coffee grounds are one of my favorite “leftover” items to repurpose at home. The simplest use is to put a generous scoop in your hands with a few pumps of liquid soap and create an exfoliating hand scrub. Simply rub the soapy mixture over your hands and it will eliminate any dead skin. Rinse with water and your hands will be baby-soft. You can also do this on the bottom of your feet in the shower.
Another way to use the grounds: Next time you chop up onions and garlic, rub used coffee grounds all over the cutting board after, let sit for a few hours, then rinse. The coffee will absorb and neutralize odors.
