WHAT'S YOUR PERSONALITY ARCHETYPE?
Fairlady
|March/April 2026
If your life were a movie, which role would you play: creative force, fierce warrior, wise guide, magnetic lover, charismatic leader or gentle healer? Knowing the answer to this question can benefit your choices, confidence, relationships and self-image.
From ancient times to contemporary Hollywood and across cultures and continents, a recognisable set of character types have recurred in stories, belief systems and symbols: the immutable personality patterns psychiatrist Carl Jung described as 'archetypes engraved on the human psyche'. And just as they appear in myths and narratives, these personality blueprints shape us individually, influencing how we work, love, lead, fight and create.
Recognising, understanding and honouring your archetype means becoming fluent in what author Caroline Myss calls the 'language of the soul', with insights into your talents, ideal career path, recurring relationship patterns and self-image. They can also be a useful and fun way to understand the people in your life.
HOW TO SCOREAssign one point to each archetype you chose. The archetype with the highest score represents your dominant instincts and behaviours, and the one with the second-highest score reveals nuances in your personality. The lowest-scoring archetype is your shadow, highlighting energies you repress or misunderstand.
The Creator
Your essence: Imagination, vision, originality
Your patterns: You are driven by the desire to create, whether that involves art, business or activism. Generating ideas comes naturally to you, and your life feels empty if you are not expressing imagination and vision. Images and words thrill and inspire you.
Your work style: You work in intuitive bursts, shifting between ideas, juggling projects and following curiosity. Your ideal career involves writing, design, music, content creation, marketing, entrepreneurship or any other field where you can shape something new.

The BOOK THIEF
Our daughter, Twenty-Five, is standing in front of me, bristling with indignation. Unusually, this time it's not me who has given her the giant pip; it's her brother, Twenty-Six. Apparently he lent two of her favourite books to someone, and when she wanted them back, he couldn't remember who.

Misti Haircare x Actives
After building brands for others for more than 20 years, often as a single parent and sole provider, Misti Watson reached a point of depletion. The pressure to deliver for clients while raising two daughters felt unsustainable, so she finally turned towards an idea she had carried quietly for years. In 2024, she took the leap to create a brand of her own, and 14 months of determined work later, she launched Misti Haircare x Actives.
