MISS WORLD 2025

The Miss World 2025 pageant ended with hope, grace and gratefulness on 31st May at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India. This grand event of beauty, intellect and purpose was held in India for the third time, following Bengaluru in 1996 and Delhi-Mumbai in 2024. Hosted by Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle and Indian television personality Sachiin Kumbhar, the evening radiated glamour and significance.

The event kicked off with the introduction of 108 contestants from around the globe, all vying for the coveted crown. Over this month-long journey, these remarkable women participated in a series of challenges designed to test not just their physical beauty but also their intellect, talent and social impact. These included rounds such as the sports challenge, talent competition, top model segment and the head-to-head challenge, each narrowing the field towards the final moment. The segment, “Beauty with a Purpose”, was a standout among these challenges that aimed to recognise and reward contestants for their efforts in making a positive difference in society. This round was won by Miss Indonesia - Monica Kezia Sembiring, who impressed the jury with her Pipeline for Life project, aimed at improving access to clean water and sanitation for underserved communities. Another key challenge, the Multimedia round, gave a fast-track entry to the four winners—Opal Suchata (Thailand), Andrea Nikolić (Montenegro), Kendra Issie (Cameroon) and Mayra Delgado (Dominican Republic), into the Top 40 quarterfinals after all the contestants were carefully evaluated for creativity, emotional depth and production quality. Though Nandini Gupta failed to make it to the Top 8 finalists, she gave a commendable performance as India’s representative.
