Q How has the response been to IPW in San Antonio?

It has been absolutely incredible, not only from the 5100 attendees and the media that is here, but also the residents of San Antonio are loving having this conference in our city. They have welcomed people from day one. I have heard people that have gotten off their plane and gone into Uber and where the Uber drivers have said, "Oh my God, you're here for the IPW, this is so exciting. Thank you for being here."

So I think the stories of San Antonio and all the work that our team has done in Visit San Antonio are resonating with all of the attendees from all the 60 countries that are here, visiting us.

What does San Antonio have to offer to visitors?

We are one of the oldest cities in the United States. We are 305 years old, and we have intentionally and carefully preserved our history and our heritage. But for the second year in a row, we have seen a larger growth in population than any other city in the United States. So just during the pandemic, in the past 36 months, we have opened 100 new restaurants and 12 new hotels.
