The 2025 Dell Tower Plus is a remarkably customisable desktop PC packed into an unassuming tower case that looks ripped from a 1990s magazine ad. Many will hate it for just that reason, but I'm getting tired of big, heavy cases bedecked in RGB lights and jagged edges: this bland grey design is like a breath of forgettable fresh air.

It's made all the more forgettable by how quietly it runs, even after hours of gaming. That's not to say silent: I noticed a consistent low hum after an hour or two of gaming, and the rear of the PC usually felt hot after long sessions. How hot depends not only on how hard you're pushing the PC, but also what components you choose – and the sheer number of options really marks the Dell Tower Plus Desktop out.
