Dell pitches the 14 Plus as a lightweight Al laptop for small businesses and creatives, and in most respects it's right on the mark. With a choice of 200-series Intel Core Ultra 7 and Ultra 9 CPUs, it has the NPU performance for Copilot+ Al applications, plus the integrated Intel Arc graphics to run local AI apps and accelerate some video and design tools, or even handle basic gaming. The 14in screen might not be OLED, but it has the high resolution and colour performance less demanding creative users will require, and at 1.55kg it's reasonably light, though not in the same league as the sub-1kg Asus Zenbook A14.

It's a well-built laptop, even if the design is rather pedestrian. It's fashioned mostly from silver plastic but with a matching aluminium lid.
