The new Chromebook Plus 516 takes over from the Chromebook Plus 515 as the big-screen option in Acer's Chromebook lineup, bringing in faster Intel Core CPUs and an additional inch of screen size.

Unsurprisingly, it's a whopper, measuring 359 x 253 x 19mm and weighing 1.7kg. It feels rock solid, but there's no ignoring the bulk, even with Acer's clever sculpting. However, the bigger screen and ergonomic advantages more than compensate if you spend your working life bound to a desk.
