Technology, information, exchange, international networking, and cooperation are what EMO has embodied for 50 years. “There is a profusion of smart and impressive technical solutions. This EMO has convincingly demonstrated that,” says Carl Martin Welcker, General Commissioner of EMO 2025. “For them to be effective, the booster engine of investment now really needs to fire. Many projects are in the pipeline after three years of investment restraint, but the uncertainty in the political sphere continues to put the brakes on investment,” Welcker continues.
India takes centre stage
This year, India transitioned from a significant market for imports to a powerful, two-way partner on the EMO stage. The country’s presence was formidable, with more than 40 Indian exhibitors registered, including manufacturing titans such as ACE, Jyoti, S&T Machinery, Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW), and Macpower. These companies showcased advanced, made-in-India systems covering lathes, milling, grinding, and the latest integrated Automation & AI solutions.
