Apple Creator Studio debuts

Subscription-based suite of apps for video editing, music, imaging, and more

APPLE HAS INTRODUCED Apple Creator Studio, its first subscription-based bundle of apps. For $12.99 per month or $129 per year, or just $2.99 per month/ $29.99 per year for college students and educators, you get Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad and Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on Mac, all with "exciting new intelligent features and premium content", plus "new AI features and premium content" in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote on Mac, iPad, and iPhone.

With Family Sharing, up to six family members can share all of the apps and content included. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote remain free, but a Creator Studio subscription is required to access the AI features and premium content.

You can also still buy the other apps outright on the Mac App Store, but the bundle pricing is attractive compared to the one-time price of $300 for Final Cut Pro and $200 for Logic Pro, for starters.
