SNAPDRAGON AUTO DAY PUTS INDIA IN THE FAST LANE OF CONNECTED MOBILITY

In a year where conversations about the future of transport have shifted from what's possible to what's imminent, Qualcomm Technologies' Snapdragon for India: Auto Day offered a snapshot of how India's mobility landscape is poised to evolve. The event, held with significant industry and government presence, was marked by the attendance of Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, as Chief Guest, perhaps as a nod to the growing importance of advanced automotive technologies in India's infrastructure and policy planning.

A MEETING POINT FOR INDUSTRY AND POLICY

The gathering brought together automakers, technology experts, suppliers, and policymakers under one roof. At the centre of the discussion was Qualcomm's Snapdragon Digital Chassis, a suite of connected car solutions encompassing Snapdragon Cockpit, Snapdragon Ride, Ride Flex, Auto Connectivity, and Car-to-Cloud services. With its automotive platforms already in over 350 million vehicles worldwide, Qualcomm used the event to highlight both its global reach and its decade-long engineering presence in India, spread across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Gurgaon. These centres contribute to everything from telematics and infotainment to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and two-wheeler connectivity.
