ERDA expands capabilities across testing, field, and expert service domains

How is ERDA strengthening its role across the power industry?

ERDA is working on three fronts. We are involved in testing and evaluation, field services, and expert services. In testing and evaluation, we test all electrical and renewable equipment, such as solar PV modules, solar inverters, solar cables, and solar batteries. In field services, we visit sites to perform various assessments. We conduct due diligence of installed solar plants to evaluate their performance and carry out onsite performance evaluations of solar power plants. In expert services, we undertake various system studies for the integration of solar power into the grid, including protection audits, load flow studies, and short-circuit studies. Apart from these, we also have an R&D division engaged in several projects related to battery cell development, inverter development, and charger development.
