MECON Limited, a “Miniratna” Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, is a premier global consulting, engineering, and contracting organisation. For over six decades, we have been instrumental in providing a full spectrum of services for setting up projects —from initial concept to final commissioning, including turnkey execution. Our focused engineering solutions span the metal sector, including iron and steel, and a diverse range of mining and mineral industries covering iron ore, coal, bauxite, copper, and critical minerals.

MECON is renowned for providing single-window consultancy, engineering, and project management solutions for mining projects. At IME 2025, we underscored our comprehensive EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) capabilities. This includes everything from detailed exploration and geological report preparation and deposit evaluation using UNFC and JORC standards to the design of complex mineral beneficiation and coal washery plants. Furthermore, we demonstrated our expertise in preparing crucial statutory reports, conducting Pre-Feasibility and Detailed Project Reports, and providing essential services like tendering, project management, and due diligence for asset valuation and transaction advisory.
