EXCON 2025 is a major milestone for the industry. How is BEML showcasing its future direction here?

EXCON provides us with a critical opportunity to showcase BEML's growing leadership and technological capabilities on a global scale. This year, we made a strong presence with a 684-square-metre outdoor exhibit displaying key equipment from our enhanced construction portfolio, including new-generation crawler dozers, graders, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, and hydraulic excavators.

These machines are equipped with BS-V-compliant engines and enhanced design features, which contribute to lower emissions, improved fuel efficiency, and optimised performance. We are positioning our solutions for both global competitiveness and domestic growth.

Our engagement reflects our strategic focus on innovation-led manufacturing, operational productivity, and providing world-class equipment to help India transform its infrastructure.

Digital and automation technologies are reshaping operations. What advancements has BEML made for smarter and safer equipment?

We are witnessing a future in which equipment is intelligent, connected, and heavily operator-focused. BEML has already implemented several digital innovations, including real-time health monitoring, fatigue alert systems, automated diagnostics, and advanced operator-assist technologies such as rear-view cameras and safety sensors.

Our cabins are designed to meet international safety standards (ROPS/FOPS), increasing both comfort and protection for operators operating in tough environments. Automation of fire suppression, lubrication systems, predictive maintenance analytics, and telematics increases uptime and improves maintenance planning.
