Tom's penalty Putts seal on top victory for Albion

IN-FORM Plymouth Albion held on for a sixth consecutive victory in what was a close and physical contest.

When their kick-off went in to the dead ball area and was grounded, the resulting goal line drop kick was kicked out on the full, which gave Plymouth an early opportunity.

The ball was moved wide from the five-metre scrum and winger Craig Duncan was on hand to give the visitors a dream start.

The Lions responded well, though, and dominated the first quarter, but resolute Plymouth defence repeatedly kept them out.

But the home side finally got on the scoreboard on the half-hour mark when Olly Taylor converted a driving line-out.
