Devon cream their way past Gloucestershire

THE Gill Burns County Championship got underway with three matches across its three divisions, with ties taking places in the deepest south, to the most far-flung of northern locations.
In Division Two, Pool Two, Devon were convincing winners against Gloucestershire, thumping their visitors 50-12.
Devon were always in control of the tie in Brixham, the win putting them equally in the ascendency in a pool also containing Cornwall and Hampshire.
They were 31-0 up at the break, with Sam Harris getting them up and running — further scores before the interval came from Charleigh Hopkin, at the double, Jess Thomas and Megan Heath.
