OUR DEV MADE A LASTING IMPACT
The Non-League Football Paper
|February 16, 2025
A NUMBER of clubs and teammates have paid tribute to much-loved player Devonte Aransibia, who died last Sunday at the age of 26.
Aransibia came through the youth ranks at Norwich City before starting his Non-League career with Kingstonian in 2019.
He went on to play for another eight clubs at Steps 1 to 3, culminating in brief spells at Chesham United and Bedford Town earlier this season.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Aransibia's family following his passing and last night reached £15,300.
A statement from the family read: "It is with heavy hearts that we come together to honour the life of Dev, a loving partner, devoted father, cherished son, and dear friend to so many.
"Dev was the embodiment of kindness and compassion, always ready with a warm smile.
"His infectious laughter and generous spirit brightened every room he entered, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
