Family values shining for Carol

FRIENDSHIP forms the foundation of the strong community spirit at Ipswich Wanderers, as a volunteer at The GBS Stadium has discovered.

Carol Taylor was first introduced to football through her husband, Dan, who coaches the U23 and U18 Wanderers squads.

Since then, her involvement in the club has only grown. From starting out serving the teas and coffees, Carol now heads up events and hospitality and manages the club diary to oversee pitch bookings.

It is an evolution that has seen her involvement in football expand from supporting her husband to finding a whole new family at Ipswich Wanderers.

“I get a lot of joy from it. I love what I do, and I’ve loved that my role has expanded, and I have made even more friends. I never used to like football but I’ve grown to love it,” Carol said.
