Munyard joins Jammers after Regent
BRETT Munyard is determined to lead Maldon & Tiptree away from a relegation dogfight and give supporters some much-needed cheer after being appointed as the Jammers' new boss.
The 33-year-old was handed the reins on Wednesday less than 24 hours after his departure from Isthmian North rivals Brightlingsea Regent was announced.
Taking over at Park Drive from Dave Huzzey, who parted company with the Jammers after a 1-0 home defeat by Gorleston last Saturday, Munyard inherits a side low on confidence after securing just three wins all season.
But Munyard, who led the side out against fellow strugglers Newmarket Town yesterday, insists he is the right man to guide the Essex club to safety.
