RECORD-BUSTING CONEHEADS!

SO THERE was an English triumph on World Cup final day. And if you were eagle-eyed, you may even have spotted it. English fans Gary Spinks and Keith Hibbert sported traffic cones for headwear as they watched the climax at Stade de France and entered the record books.

For the duo, both members of Milton Keynes RUFC, were attending their 29th match at the tournament - one more than Welshman Justin Davies achieved at England 2015 and which earned him a place in the Guinness World Records for most RWC matches attended by an individual.

The record will need to be ratified but Hibbert and Spinks have a pile of photographic and Google tracker evidence, so it's as good as in the bag.
