DINO SET TO SOAR

ASCOT November 22 (good-soft) 2m3f110y hurdle (Class 1)

Classy contest

CELTIC DINO (Sam Thomas) has got leading man looks and set a personal best to chase the classy Wodhooh home. He’s weighted to be competitive in topnotch handicaps and will be dangerous at the big spring festivals.

3m5f110y handicap chase (Class 2)

Impressive winner

ROCK MY WAY (Joe Tizzard) looked in the pink and was properly punted near the off (9-2 to 100-30). He landed the lolly with minimal fuss and looks tailor-made for high-class midwinter marathons.

KEMPTON November 24 (good, good to soft in places)

2m juvenile hurdle (Class 4)

Race that lacked depth

SONIC PIONEER (Martin Keigh-ley) was bursting with good health and jumped like a bunny to make a winning debut over obstacles. He's another money maker for owner Harry Redknapp, and connections are already dreaming about the Triumph Hurdle.

LINGFIELD November 27 (good to soft) 2m3f110y mares' maiden hurdle (Class 4)

Fair race for the grade

AFANCY GETAWAY (Ben Pauling) bolted-up in a point-to-point and was a big racecourse whisper on her debut under Rules (7-4 to evens). The money went west turning for home, but she will strip sharper next time and deserves another chance.

2m novice hurdle (Class 4)

Front two pulled clear

MOSSY FEN ROAD (Harry Derham) is a bonny sort and dug deep to outgun the smart former Flat racer Mondo Man. He's the sort of fella you would want standing next door in the trenches, and connections have found themselves a nice little earner.

KEMPTON December 1 (standard to slow)

7f two-year-old novice (Class 5)

Impressive winner
