TaylorMade introduces Qi4D family of clubs that promises greater speed and enhanced fitting.

FIT FOR SPEED

It's that time of the year and TaylorMade has not disappointed. The Carlsbad company launched the new Qi4D family of drivers, and corresponding fairway woods and rescue clubs, that focuses on increased speed and better club fitting options.

"Today, more than ever, golfers are looking for a driver that's fit for them and gives them speed off the tee," says Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade's Vice President of Product Creation. "The Qi4D family of drivers has been engineered to deliver on both those fronts. From finely tuned aerodynamic heads, to faces with improved roll radii and the use of the lightest weight materials in construction, we've created our fastest family of drivers.

"Coupled with cutting-edge REAXTM shafts and our industry-leading fitting capabilities that allow fitters and everyday golfers alike to quickly find the perfect head and shaft combination for their unique swing, Qi4D drivers allow golfers to realize their full potential off the tee." TaylorMade Qi4D drivers are currently available in authorized outlets in Singapore at an MSRP of $1,260.

THE NEW FACE OF FAST

A new carbon face that is lighter than titanium is at the foundation of the speed Qi4D promises to delivery. Through extensive research and testing, TaylorMade engineers were able to prove out that the carbon faces featured in Qi4D drivers more efficiently produce speed than titanium faces. They're also more durable than the faces in the previous generation.

The faces of Qi4D drivers also feature a reengineered roll radius that delivers more consistent spin across different vertical impact locations across the entire face. In short, there’s less discrepancy in spin rates between shots struck low and high on the face with those that come out of the center. More consistent spin allows for more consistent flight and distance across the face.
