Sloth toothache cured by dentists

Dental experts have cured a two-toed sloth's toothache through a procedure called an apicectomy (say ap-ee-sek-toe-mee).

It is the first time that a sloth has had the treatment, which involves cutting into the jawbone, removing a tooth's root and putting in a filling.
