Mangroves are a type of tree found on tropical coastlines around the world that are specially adapted to survive in salty water and wet, boggy soil. They improve water quality, protect coastal land from flooding and provide a home for animals. Local communities around the world have found a solution to protect these precious forests: farming honey.
